Miniature DHEI to ASI MPEG-2 Interface Adapter

WooshCom’s DHEI to ASI Interface Adapter enables DHEI interfaces to be immediately converted to ASI at the rear of DHEI equipment without consuming any rack space. Awkward DHEI interfaces can therefore be eliminated before they infiltrate a headend by converting them to the standard and easy to work with DVB-ASI interface type.

Re-multiplexers may now be purchased without equipping them with DHEI ports. This extends the usefulness of ALL the input ports that a re-mux is initially configure with by making them all the highly compatible and ubiquitous DVB-ASI type. This avoids the inevitable obsolescence and replacement of an expensive DHEI card in the remux as receivers are gradually changed over from DHEI output devices to ASI output devices.
