IRT Battery Replacement Kit

WooshCom’s BK-1000 is a battery replacement kit for Motorola IRT-1000s and IRT-1000s. The Kit is very unique in that it has been purposefully designed to be extremely easy to install.

This ease of installation is what enables the kit to be installed at the head-end by head-end technicians. Furthermore the kit can be installed on live IRTs that are powered up and still serving customers if the physical location of the IRT permits it.

By not requiring the IRT to be powered down or un-cabled several significant benefits result:

	The headend staff does not have to go through the cumbersome and time consuming process of de-authorizing and re-authorizing the IRT.
	The IRT does not have to be taken out of service and shipped to a repair facility.
	The risk of loosing the encryption and decryption keys is eliminated by keeping power applied at all times.

The cards have custom plastic guide-clips specifically designed to offer a guiding function, a retention capability and to eliminate the possibility of incorrect installation (dummy-proofed).

The BK-1000’s batteries have a 50% higher capacity than the original IRT batteries thus ensuring a long battery life.
