WooshCom's line of ASI to DHEI Interface Adapters comes in various models depending on what type of device is to be driven using the DHEI interface. The fundamental difference between the various model's of adapters is in the transport frequency used on the DHEI output.

WooshCom's two basic models are the MPA-1235 and the MPA-1234.

The MPA-1235 supports the broadest range of transport frequencies and hence can drive the broadest range of DHEI devices, including both 64QAM and 256QAM modulators as well as MPEG re-multiplexers.

The MPA-1234 is a cost reduced version which will only drive the DHEI input of non-modulation types devices like MPEG re-multiplexers. It was specifically introduced to enable cable operators to effectively convert the DHEI inputs on their existing MPEG re-multiplexers into DVB-ASI inputs at a cost effective price point.
