DHEI cables are made to Motorola's specification (Doc. No. 410-399-001 R. 3)  with special controlled impedance cable, 100% shielding, quality molded connectors and easy-to-grip thumbscrews.

WooshCom offers a variety of types and lengths of DHEI cables.  Model CASxxx, CBSxxx & CYS001 are Duplex to Simplex DHEI adapter cables.  CASxxx cables connect the A side of the Duplex interface to the Simplex connector and CBSxxx cables connecting the B side of the Duplex interface  to the Simplex connector.  CYS001 cables connect both the A and B side of the Duplex interface to their own respective Simplex DHEI connectors - hence the term Y-splitter cable.  Model CSSxxx cables are Simplex to Simplex DHEI cables.  Cables are available in various lengths as specified by the last three digits of the Model # and all cables including the Y-splitter cables are made with male connectors.

*The DHEI specification limits the length of a DHEI cable to be less then 12 feet for reliable operation at 256QAM rates. 5 m cables exceed this limit and are therefore not recommended for 256 QAM operation.

DHEI Gender Changers

The DHEI specification dictates that all equipment use female connectors and all cables use male connectors.  However, occasionally situations occur that require the gender of the connector on a cable or piece of equipment to be changed.  For example: the connection of two DHEI cables together. To this end WooshCom offers several handy type of slim-line gender changers - each with fully locking jackscrews - so that connections can be fully secured.  Female/Female gender changers have back-to-back jackscrews and male/male gender changers have a single jackscrew per side.
